t-mo BB 7100t - Email to BB time?

I got the BlackBerry 7100t on Tmobile and I wanted to know why some emails will download to the unit faster than others. 1 took over an hour to come one and the other about 15 mins. This is from the time I sent them to the account related to the BWC. Could the quality of the service area be a factor. I have 1 bar of service here, but get the green flashing light saying the wireless is working ok.

Are you sending an e-mail to your web client address, or to a POP3 account or something you have the BWC checking for you?

E-mail sent directly to your BWC address should be almost instant. E-mail to another address that the BWC is checking will depend on how often it is checking the POP3/IMAP/etc.. account. I apologize if my understanding of this is wrong, as I have only ever used the redirector and currently a BES, but I believe that is how the BWC works.

One bar of signal strength should be enough. If you have signal and a capital GPRS, you should be fine. GPRS usually works fine if you have -102dB or better signal strength.
