I have the USb cable, DL the Motorola Phone Tools 1.xx then hit the live update, and got the 3.19e version now. WinXP with sp2. when i run MPT v3.19e all it says is "Initializing..." help? Thanks

it will also say phone not connected, when infact it is plugged in and turned on?

I have a PK2 file. but dont know wher to put it. When i connect my phone,MPT has to re-install it everytime, but doenst ask for drivers or anyting.

I believe there were some issues with 3.19 and xp sp2.

I dont know what my problem is. I have tried everyting that was listed on that site on what to do. installed, un-install, re-installed, down load this, down load that..... nothing.... I have tried other sites, other help from others. Nothing works. Three days going on, the few dollars i can find the program on Ebay is sounding good right now. all i want to do is download the pics i take, and maybe a few mp3s. thats it. thanks

Do you have the usb Future ? cable.

yup.... have a oem usb cable

There were quite a few threads telling you not to use this type of cable.It has some sort of built in filter, this messes with the signal.

i did read about some cables with that little "box" in the middle of the cable. mine does not have that.

Try starting the program first without the phone connected, then plug phone in.
