dose anyone in here know about transmissions???? i have a 98 s10 pickup and i think my slave cylender is bad. I lose cluch fluid/ presure pretty bad have to add more fluid about once a week. where is the slave cylender???? internal or external? how hard would it be to replace?????

Check the clutch master cylinder first, to check the slave, you would have to pull the trans, because the slave cylinder is directly behind the throwout bearing. Also, check the hydralic lines for leaks.

replaced the master then i replaced the cluch, preasure plate was compleatly worn
