I've never been a fan of the rubber grips on the v551 so ordered the oem silver faceplate mirror and outside lens. Fit like a charm, plus I like how the center section on the faceplate is metal of some kind. (aluminum?) anyways, I had the battery cover from a carbon fiber set I got for the v551, unfortunately the quality was not so good. The battery cover was nice though so I've paired it up with the new silver faceplate. The color scheme reminds me of the WEST Mclaren colors. I totally dig the new look! I'm curious though if the center section thats metal can be powdercoated by the metal faceplates guy?
