Blackberry 7230 and Tmobile

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and would like some advice. I bought a 2 week old 7230 on ebay. It will arrive on Monday. I'm already a Tmobile customer and will add the data for $20 a month. Do I need T zones?
Seeing as the unit was used, what would be my plan of action.

The $20 a month plan is all you need. That'll be enough for T-zones too.

All you need to hope for is that it isn't still in use in someones webclient account or a BES somewhere. In that case you'll need to get the old owner to release it for you.

If the PIN is associated with another T-Mobile BWC account, they can take care of that for you. The only other thing I can think of is that if you do intend to use with BES, you'll need the $30 plan as BES won't work with the $20 plan. No need for T-Zones at all.

Hi,
Could you please tell me what Bes is and why I might need it. Sorry to ask such a dumb question. I'm trying to quickly get up to speed.
