Hi, I am using the 6035 phone support tool trying to make my sprint phone a verizon phone, and I got it to work (backed up and restored settings with pst) but I was wondering how to get rid of the sprint logo at startup, any ideas?

sorry i didnt post earlier on this, i meant to. i hate seeing unanswered threads
anyways, the 6035 being a PDA phone, i doubt it uses .bqr logo files, as do the sliders and the blades....but in any case, it is very tricky, but i believe it is possible....if you do mess it up however, you can end up screwing up things to where you might need to flash it..

Hi thanks for the reply. I have the PST (phone support tooll) and there actually is an option where I can specify a carrier logo, so I hooked up a verizon 6035, saved the logo, hooked up the sprint one, and went to load the logo. For some reason it does not save. On the computer the logo file is called carrierlogo_0, but after some research it looks like the file on the pda is carrierlogo123. I tried renaming the verizon carrierlogo_0 to carrierlogo123 hoping it would replace it, no luck still sprint. Someone reccommended I download a program called (well I forget what its called I am on a diff. computer if anyone needs the name of the prog. reply back) and it allows me to modify files on the palm pilot. I sync the program to be installed on the pdf, once installed I run the program and manually delete the carrierlogo123 file, and at startup all I see is "smart phone". It does not say verizon but I dont need it to, I was told if I wanted the verizon logo I could "beam" the file from 1 phone to the next (when I dont know how to do, I am sure I could figure it out but its not that important because I am just selling these phones).
