Moving Keylock icon on homescreen of 7520

Is there a way to move the keylock icon on the on the homescreen of the BB 7520? I would like to move it to the first position (upper left) of the homescreen. Most of the other icons are movable (via pushing in the ALT key and the scroll wheel) with the exception of the Power Off icon and the Wireless icon. But I am looking for a quick way to lock the keyboard now that I own the Blackberry leather holster which unwantedly activates keys when the BB is inserted. If the homescreen always defaulted to the Keyboard Lock icon, it would speed things up for me. Any ideas?

Just press 'K' when you are on the home screen, before you put it in you pocket.

**** you can do that? i used K as a speed dial #... is there a way to reset that? same thing with the #1 key for voice mail.. i thought i could use another key and retain the pause for automatic pin entering but i messed it all up

alt-click on it and you can choose "Move Application"

Just pressing "K" doesn't do anything, unless I hold it in-but then it goes to a speed dial.

Open the Phone icon; select Options / General Options and then change "Dial from Home Screen to" no

This will activate shortcuts for several functions; M = Messages; K = Keyboard lock.

A short press of "M" will open the Messages application; pressing and holding the M key will dial the M speed dial number.

** NOTE: THIS DOES NOT WORK ON THE 7100 SERIES **

Here's another way to easily lock your keys on the BB 7520 when the phone's in the holster... in fact, it's THE easiest way I know of:
Main screen > Options > Security > Lock Handheld Upon Holstering > Yes.

Piece of cake, nothin' to it, you dig?

I dig it, daddio! The only problem is that the keypad is most prone to keys being pressed when the unit is being inserted into the holster-prior to the holster mode being activated. It's OK--pressing the 'K' key is easy enough. Thanks for the info!

P.S.--As my girlfriend says, "Always be careful when inserting your unit."
