Has any one had the opportunity to compare these devices? They look pretty much the same in terms of capabilty and form factor.
The reason I ask is that I live in an area of fringe reception (work reception is not a problem) . . . I use Rogers GMS/GRPS service (7290 and 7100r) whereas my better half has a Bell CDMA BB 7750 and she gets 3/5 bars where I get 0 to 1/5 bars reception at our house. A lot of the time I get the dreaded "Big X"
Is it worth my while to consider the 7250 or a CDMA Charm if one should emerge . . . or should I sit where am?

If you were staying away from the 7750 b/c of the speed issues, then you must buy the 7250 now. It is identical to the 7290 (which I also have). The only real difference is that the 7250 is running 4.0 software, and seems to score a bettary life at least in my book. The only thing it lacks is the browser which your carrier may offer.

I just got a 7290 with cingular and it includes a browser. I have the $45 dollar unlimited plan. When they say unlimited is that only for email or can I use the browser as well?

When I called 611 and asked this the CSR did not understand what I was asking.

Thanks

Yes it is for both, but be careful I have found in the passed they charged me a few times for "data usage". It was only a few dollars, but every little bit adds up. Just keep an eye on your bill.
