AutoLaunch Agile Messenger, and Pop-to-front on message

Has anyone figured out how to auto start agile messenger on phone startup? I made a shortcut link in Startup, which appeared to launch it, however then when I send a message to the user, no notification is received (but the message is if I go to the app). Secondly, has anyone figured out how to have agile messenger pop to the front or have some other visible notification besides just the one audible on incoming message?

Thanks!

The visible notification is something Agile Messenger would have to do in their software, much like it is done by MSN Messenger. I don't know if access to the notification icons is protected....

Yeah, I think that aspect just wasn't put into the smartphone version. There is a today plugin, icon in your top bar, and popup notifications (to the front of whatever app you're in) with the PPC version.

question - I get a ring notification of message received, then I go to agile messenger in the start menu. Its disconnected and I don't get the messages. I do get them if I open Agile and I keep that app on top after restarting the phone. Am I opening numerous instances of the app by going to the start menu? It has issues connecting when I do it this way also. Is there another way I should be checking messages after returning to the home screen? Do you get idled off eventually also?
Thanks.
