Help - Speed dial entries disappear after sync

For some reason, my speed dial entries and the photos associated with contacts in my phone are being eradicated as part of the sync process. I'm just doing a normal sync with all the default settings with Outlook contacts/calendar using v3.1.1 of the SE sync application. (BTW, It only has happened since I upgraded to v3.1.1)
Any idea why this is happening?
