Hello and good morning,

I am a newbie here and lucky to find this site !!
I did read alot about E911 tracking and I stll was not able to find out how to disable tracking E911 on my phone.
Perhaps any body could get me a link or explain how to disable that feature ??

To turn off the GPS tracking on a 4900 go to settings, location, hit OK and turn off the service. Unfortunately, what you are trying to do is not going to occur by turning this setting off. 911 can still track you as when the phone enters emergency mode it re-activates the GPS module. It will however block any non-govermental or super-powerful above the law organizations from tracking you.
