Keypad's Broke :o

Hmm, fixed the speaker problem (
) but now I have a problem with the keypad, it worked fine before but now the buttons down the left hand side (1,4,7) don't actually do anything.
I've taken it apart a couple of times and ensured it was pushed in correctly and also made sure the keypad was aligned but it still didn't work, is there anything else worth trying or will I probablly need a new keypad and circuitboard thing for it?

PLEASE guys, anything I try doesn't seem to work! Any suggestions? The connector doesn't seem to be going in (there's about 1/2mm that isn't pushed in) but it won't go in any further, could that be the problem?
