I have a LG vx4600 and I got my usb data cable the other day and started fooling around with trying to upload ringtones to my phone. Well I managed to upload a ringtone but in the process lost all my originial ringtones that came with the phone. Now I have no workplace 'suitable' ringtones to use

Maybe I should download Sir Mixalot's song I Like Big Butt's and use that as my default ringer...

Does anyone know how I can reset my phone to get back those original ringtones or some way I can get them all back??

Well I checked every nook and cranny of my phone and found my original ringtones, I guess I overlooked this but it is not very straight forward to find.

If anyone else has been fooling around with uploading ringtones to your lg vx4600 and thought you lost them because they are not listed under ringtones no more do this and see if you can see them once again.

Press left soft key to get your menu, press 7 for settings, 1 for sounds, 1 for ringers, 1 for voice calls, 1 for caller ID, press right soft key for Options and then choose 1 for Default (original ringtones) and 2 for Download (ringtones you downloaded or uploaded to your phone). I guess the ringtones are separated into 2 sections, I didn't know this and thought I lost my default ringers. Phew... it would have been bad if I was in a meeting with a client and off goes my phone blasting Snoop Dogg ft. Pharell - Drop it like it's hot.
