Automatic cecking email with flip removed question

I just removed the flip on my P910 and have the phone set to check email every half hour. When the flip is off it askes me the account name to connect to. I have it set to alway use this connection and with the flip on I never had this problem.
Is there a setting that will make it so I don't have to manyally select the connect button?

I'm only going off of my P900 but hopefully it's the same for you:
Go to Control Panel and then Internet Accounts. The "Show connection dialog" check box should be cleared to force it to use the preferred connection.

It works on the P910 but later in the day the box is checked again and I get the box again.
