Treo650 as a modem?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Anyone used their 650 as a wireless modem? If so, what was required to get this to work?

Thanks in advance,

M.

I do, and I use PdaNet. There are other ways but it's the easiest, IMO. No DUN patches to load, just hook it up via USB, install the program, click 'connect' & you're online.

Thanks Kabuki -- I'll check out PDANet. If I have questions, may I inbox you?

Is there a way to do this on a Mac? I currently use the LG VX-6000 with #777 on Verizon, which works great, and I'd love to do it with my Treo 600.

Thanks!

Sure, feel free to ask any questions you need to.

About the mac question- I have no idea as I've never used a mac. Hopefully a mac user will stumble onto this thread & share some knowledge.

Check out QuickLink Mobile for OSX.

I have used it with a Sony GPRS Edge PC Card and an Edge Nokia. They have a Bluetooth version that I will try as soon as my unlocked Treo shows up and my AT&T 650 goes back
