if i get my data cable for my soho can i use the same program to upload ringtones to my phone as you all are using for your sliders...thanks

do you have the cable right from kyocera...and the software...what i am wondering is...if i can buy that cheap one from ebay...and use the freeware that the slider people are using to see if that would allow me to upload ringtones to my SoHo...

No, I have the factory cable and software. I trust it better.

Yes, you can download them onto your PC and then import them into th phone desktop. They must be a supported file. The supported files are
PMD
MIDI
SP-MIDI
iMELODY

Hi where did you find the data cable?
Because all that I found did not fit to our phone that has only the headphone plug to add it.
