I have a Treo 600 and I can receive G Mail from pop3 server but I can't send mail! Wassup with that?? My connections are as they say on the Gmail mail options.

I don't have internet on my phone I just have T-Zones and that has slow on my phone for a while, I can't even connect to wap sites, SAD!

Theres ways to do it but it requires some configuration. Ive dont it successfully with both my treo 600 and 650. What you have to do is register your Gmail address(es) with the Tmobile "My Email" account on the Tmobile website. Im assuming you are using the Mail application that came with the treo 600? Anyway check out the included link on my post.. itll set you in the right direction. Just remember that Gmail uses pop.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com as their incoming and outgoing servers (respectively). And although Gmail can be configured with POP3, the Mail application on the treo 600 wont allow you to send out mail on the gmail server.

make sure your its smtp.gmail.com and you checked ssl. plus also authentication. and the port has to be 587. i had the same problem with my 650

How do I check the port # cause I dont see that on my phone anywhere?
