Found this while rummaging around on ebay, but can't read German so don't know what the deal is...

Are proper official housings available for the S700i yet? i really want to get a black cover cos silver is a bit cack and i'm bored of it and want to get rid of the stupid vodafone symbols from the screen etc. (already flashed and debranded etc before anyone tries to flame for being on voda).

Any ideas anyone?

well the fact that he is also offering the unofficial colors of red and navy blue simply EXUDE fake to me, because these housings DONT EXIST.

plus they are not SE branded except for the SE logo. The back cover doesnt say Sony Ericsson, nor does the display lens.

So, looks pretty fake, but might be worth a shot if you really want black...and believe me, I DO TOO, but i could wait until someone in chinatown or something can find an S710 housing hahah....

I have another link in regards to the so called "OEM Faceplates" for the S700i.

I think these faceplates look pretty darn real!

yea thats the guy ive been looking at.

as real as his housings look, and the fact that they include ALL those little odds and ends (like the CAM RING and SE logo!!!), the way the silver is painted isnt the same as the real deal.

also, he offers OTHER unofficial colors too, so they just cant be real.

but they DO look great, im still thinking about getting a black one.
