Possible to WAP w/prepaid foreign sim + locked browser?

I'm taking a trip to London next month and I think I am going to go the prepaid SIM route w/ my P280 (triband GSM w/WAP/GPRS). I was curious though about two things: 1) can one do WAP on a UK prepaid SIM and 2) if yes, can one do WAP on the foreign SIM when some of the browser settings were locked by the provider (in this case T-Mobile) I got it from? I will be getting the phone unlocked shortly but I understand this does not unlock the browser (or does it?). Not a big deal if I can't, just would come in handy for train schedules, etc.
