sending email

i have a treo 600 and my email is through charter. i have no problem recieving email, but, when i try to respond or send a new message i always get some type of error, can anyone offer any assittance for this problem

Sounds like your ISP doesn't not allow relaying (sending mail when you are not logged in.)
You need to try another outgoing mail server.

any suggestions on another outgoing server, can it be from a different email source?

Yep, it can be from another e-mail account as long as it's from one that allows relaying.

ok making progress, i changed the outgoing smtp address and the treo is sending it, its going to the sent folder not the outbox. but, the message is not making it to where i mailed it. do you think because the outgoing smtp is different from the email account it is being blocked some how?
