Can it be done? I only have mms, email, beam under send options

I know it can be done with the MPx 220 don't see why it couldn't be done with the SMT5600. When I send a file I go to the file manager, select the file, hit menu, and send, via bluetooth.

Beam should give you a option to send the file by BT if I remember correctly.

I assumed by your post that since you didn't see a BT option you didn't think it was a option.

where at on the phone are you trying to send? Are you in the File Manager or are you trying to send a Contact?

Hmmmm I am doing it right now and when I highlight the file I want to send, I hit menu, Send&Receive, Send by Bluetooth.

You are saying that that send by bluetooth is not there, and you have bluetooh enabled?

Works fine sending from my 5600 to my 220.

It will say searching and discover any other BT devices.

The 5600 and 220 are VERY different!

Another example is when you send a file using email on the 5600 you don't get to select what account is used to send the file like the MPx220.
