I'm not sure I fully understand your question but following are the pic sizes to use for the internal wallpaper that will not show any white borders.

First one will display picture from bottom of ERI banner to the top of the date / clock banner. Banners will show.

Width = 176 Height = 142 (in pixels)

Second will display the full screen (used for when you have the ERI banner turned off). Keep in mind that the bottom banner will still "gray over" the bottom of the picture

Width = 176 Height = 184 (in pixels)

These are the sizes that worked for me after using the trial and error method with multiple uploads to the phone and countless reboots.

Okay,

176 x 142 (Front LCD)

176 x 184 (Main LCD)

Both of those specs are for the main screen. I haven't had time to play with the front screen pic sizes yet.

The first one if if you have the ERI banner enabled. The second is if you have the banner disabled.

How do I disable the banner?

1 - Press OK button
2 - Press the ) twice (just to the right of the OK button).....goes to the tools section
3 - Press 3 for Display
4 - Press 1 for Banner
5 - Press 2 for ERI Banner
6 - Toggle up or down to choose yes / no then press OK button

That will disable the top banner, on both the main and external screens, the comes default with the text Verizon Wireless.
