Ringer Low When Open

hey guys, newbie here.

i did a search and didn't find anything so here goes.

i just got the vx7000, really nice phone. my question is, is the ringer supposed to be low when the phone is open, or is there something wrong with my phone?

if it's supposed to be like that, is there any way to change it so it's the same all the time?

they made it like that

so if you are looking at th phone or are about to put it to your ear it doesnt ring as loud.

if you are looking at it or playing with it you would probably notice the phone is ringing, or if you have it out and playing with it in a public place then you dont want it to ring as loud.....

or so is the reasoning behind making it lower volume

but it should be an option since the first versions of the firmware that came out it wasnt lower

I agree it should be an option (this has been talked about before), needless to say my phone has been left open by accident so i will not hear the alarm. Try explaining that one to your boss. pink
