Treo 650 vs BB 7100g - one question

hello all!

I am in a situation now where I need to choose between getting either a Treo 650 or a Blackberry 7100g.

I will be connecting the BB to a BES because I need remote access to my coporate email 24/7.

My question is this: How can I use the Treo to interface with my BES? I know it will not work exactly like the BB will, but I need to figure out some way to relay my work email to it.

Currently, there is no BB interface for the Treo 650. Palm announced last year that they licensed the BB software and were making a client for the Treo. There are some rumors going around that it's almost done. Check out this site...

In the meantime, if you want access to your email, you'll probably be better off using Sprint's or Cingular's email redirection solution. Sprint's is called Business Connection and Cingular's is called Xpressmail. They both use redirection software to get your email to your device, which means that the system running the software must be connected to your corporate network at all times.

That's not a problem as far as the machine being connected at all times. I can just run it off of a server somewhere if necessary. Meanwhile I will just wait for the BB client to come out.

I think I have just about made up my mind to go ahead and get the Treo. The email obstacle was the last thing I had to get through. Now it looks like hands down choice over a new BB.
