I had the cmd8900 and i stored all my ringtones and games onto my comp..

then i got a new phone the cmd8920 and i wanted to know how to get all my stuff onto that phone from my comp..

i used bitpim and when i restore the rigtones it says it's there and in the phone i t say's there memory taken so i know there on there but then when i go to ringtones it says there is none

Like I said in another post, BitPIM is not recommended for use with the 8900. You can easily trash your phone, especially if you use BitPIM to delete files.

Safest way to install ringtones and wallpaper on the 8900 and 9900 is to email them to your phone.
