datebook5 lost my call list and redial function

I tried datebook5 and it erased my call log and my redial using the send button doesn't work anymore. When I push the send button it does nothing now. Where did my call log and redial go. I deleted the datebook five. Did a hard reset. I had a call log and redial. Hotsynced, now it still won't redial or show me my calllog. Please help Im a newbie to palm
