i am using data cable with DataPilot software to upload images into my phone to use as wallpaper. The software converts pics into bmp images and transferes them into the phone graphics file. I can find them there and view theme there. But when i try to set it as the wallpaper, the phone says its saving it as wallpaper, but it only shows the default pictures, not mine.
i am using the fllowing steps:
1.menu
2. settings (9)
3.display (2)
4. sCREENS ((3)
5. wallpaper (1)
then i hit MORE to enter graphics mode, then i select the pic i uploaded into the phone
then i hit save

it says "Screen is set to "my pic""

but it isnt. the next screen says wallpaper is set to default

any help would be appreciated

using Verizon LG4500

That is the same way i use to select a wallpaper. I use Bitpim so I can't tell you if there is a prob with how you load.

Can teh software be messing up the conversion?

If you want, I can send you one of mine that is already converted.

i think its the software. ill try to download bitpim and see what that does. i wish i knew of this before i spent 35.00 on my software hehe
