I finally got through on the Sales Number 1-800-881-7256. I could not select the unlocked Treo 650 option on the phone as it would tell me that there is no additional information and logged me off the phone. I followed a HOFO member’s suggestion and used the option of ordering a locked Cingular Treo 650 and got to a Live Person in about 8 minutes! I finally got to talk to a Person after so many calls of being on hold for 20 minutes plus without any success.
I asked if he would let me have the Treo 650 for the original offering price. He gave me the same usual story about the erroneous price at the beginning and he is not allowed to sale the Treo 650 at that price any more. I could sense that the Salesman want to make a sale so I asked him if I could get the Jabra Bluetooth head set for free. I did receive an offer to upgrade if I get a Cingular Treo 650. Since I am ordering an unlocked Treo 650 this would not normally apply. He told me to wait and he went to ask his supervisor. He came back and said I can have the Jabra Headset for free. He would charge my card for the Jabra and the credit would be applied the day the order is shipped. So I placed my order.
I could not get the unlocked Treo 650 for $600.00 but since I am getting a free Jabra headset, that was not too bad a deal. No cost on shipping and no tax. I could get a Cingular Treo 650 at a discount from FAN account but the phone would be locked and DUN disabled plus I have to pay tax.
So if anyone is getting an unlocked Treo 650 from PalmOne, I would suggest ordering it using the phone and if you can get it for $600.00 that is great but if you cannot, do what I did, I get a free Jabra which cost about $100.00.

I recieved a notice that the offer of Free Jabra Bluetooth headset for upgrade to a Cingular Treo 650 ends in a week yesterday (2/16/2005). That means that the offer would end on next Wednesday (2/23/2005). So get your Treo 650 now before next Wednesday and get your Jabra head set.

I doubt that PalmOne is going to discount the Tero 650 in anytime soon. They are selling this phone at a fast rate.
