Mpx220 Internet not working

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have been unable to get Internet working on my MPX220.

I can see a G on the home screen and I have tried connecting to sites that are listed as favorities in IE. After about 10 minutes the connection times out.

I've even tried connecting while synced to a pc.

I hate calling tech support so I wondering if anyone could sugest anything obvious for me to try first.

I have service with Cingular and I have fw 1.3.

Thanks

are you sure you didn't accidentally clear your gprs settings? call Cingular if you did.

Don't know. I've only had the phone for a couple of weeks. Never got Internet to work.

If the gprs settings were not correct I don't think the little G will appear. On my MPx220 that I don't have gprs configured I don't have the little G.

Try this:
Start>Settings>Data Connections>Menu>Options>Change "Idle disconnect after" setting to "None"

This fixed that same problem for me.
