7100g to get microsoft exchange emails

Hey guys, i have a question on the 7100g. I buying it as a personal device to get my personal email and my work email account. We use microsoft exchage at my work. So far, im the only one who even knows about blackberry at my work. So i know they will not set up the BES software or anything like that for one user.
My question is with the cingular xpress mail personal edition software, can i install that on my home pc and get my work email knowing all the parameters.
Or does the software require me to install it on my work pc.
The other concern is out IT guy doesnt is worried about network securities, so installing software and such could pose a problem at work.
I know i can foward emails to the BB phone, but when i respond to it, i need it to have my business email as a return address.
Any info on this would be great!

My suggestion would be to set up a rule in outlook to redirect your email to your blackberry (using bwc addy). Then, you can switch the BWC settings of "sent from" and "reply to" to match your work email address. Attachments and all will still come through just fine and all. This is how I have mine set up.
