efile and eword

I been having trouble installing the efile and eword with my blackberry. It seems to disable my blackberry device when I install it and then when I uninstall it it works. So far trying to contact the developer, but they a bit slow in replies. It is only thru email. 
I have
desktop version 3.6
Handheld version 4
and it is a 7230
