bluetooth issues smt5600

So I have an smt5600 branded to cingular. Pairing with a headset... I have no issues... I use my AX all the time. When I try and find another bluetooth device to send to... sometimes when I click beam it finds them but it only finds like a serial number and it doesnt retrieve the device names. 8-9/10 times I do not find anyone. When someone tries to find me, they pick up my bluetooth... see my name... and click send... on their end it says "sending failed"- I cannot figure out what to do- i called audiovox- the 1st person tried to convince me it was because i was using it on cingular and it had to do with cingulars network lol lol- tier 2 said there are known issues with the Microsoft OS and bluetooth technologies and they just released firmware for pocket PCs to fix it. They said they are working on one now and should have it in 1-2 months for the 5600. Has anyone been able to correct this problem. Keep in mind, I dont have send via bluetooth, only beam file

thanks

Beam file is how you transfer a file using BT on the 5600.

When searching for devices it first appears as numbers but should update to the name after a few moments.

Never seen a Cingular branded 5600 got any pics?

I have never had a send fail, but I have only sent things between my phones and PC. (All configured by me)

I don't have any high tech mobile friends to send stuff back and forth with.

Since cables are now included with phones I don't use BT as much. Cable is just faster and simpler.

what about when people try and send you

in order for other phones to find you...you have to be in DISCOVERABLE....not ON
