i just got the usb data cable but my computer cant find my phone always say phone not connected. what program you guys use to transfer mp3s or files to ur phone and what setting u need to change on the phone??? thx

Well, i got the non-oem usb cable (DCU-11) from ebay and it came with its own software. It installed the USB drivers along with the product information. The disc says "SE PC Suite 2.061" But, I'm pretty sure you can get the other programs from the sony ericsson website. As for your phone being not connected, I can't really help you there. But I say just get the DCU-11 data cable from ebay for like $10. If you wanna transfer mp3's or other stuff from ur phone, all you gotta do is copy and paste that sh*t!! So mother f*ckin simple!! OMG.. I LOVE THIS PHONE. ahahahahha.. hope this helps mang.

I bought a SE branded serial cable (sorry, can't remember the model number) and, with Windows XP, was able to plug it into the CPU and the phone was recognized right away without needing drivers (the cable itself didn't come with any). I had downloaded the SE file manager from their website first and found it very easy to transfer files by dragging and dropping.
