What resolution and Video Bit rate does Treo 650 support

A friend of mine who had a movie made for his O2 Mini gave me the file to play on the Treo 650 and it gave me the following messages when running with mmplayer:
1) Resolution is too high (something like that)
2) Video bit rate is too high (something like that)
How do I fix this?
I want to ask what resolution and video bit rate do you guys use when creating movies for the Treo 650?
What program do you use to create the videos and movies?
