I was wondering where I would be able to find a hex chart for a i830 phone I have been looking and been very unlucky.

Hex chart? For the CP? U cant hex edit the CP's on the new phones anymore...

I wanted to learn how to adjust the string mods and the lights, also get rid of stock wall papers if possible. What I,ve been reading here and on other forums I thought said to use hex editing to adjust all these and the rss to upload and download. Unless you had the program to achieve the editing. I would appreciate any add info.

U can erase all the images on your phone by simply doing a restore with RSS, but you would also delete te startup images, java apps and ringtones. The other way would be to replace those wallpapers with any wallpaper u want by just simply renaming the file.

Ex:
SailBoats.gif

Curretly, there is no way to mod a CP by hex. The only way is with "D", but there are many members on here who will do it for free.
