Powering on your V3

Someone mentioned (couldn't locate the thread) that before flashing their V3 they needed to only press the power button for a moment before it powered on. Now that they've flashed it they now have to press and hold the power button before the phone powers on. Found a 0032 seem edit that worked on my flash/flex, perhaps it will work on yours.

Turn on bit 7 of offset 2F to enable short-power-key. On my phone offset 2F had a default value of 3E, turning on bit 7 should make it a value of BE.

I had the opposite expereince....before I flashed I had to hold...after I flashed, I just need to click. I knew it had to be a seem edit somewhere as when I uploaded my original 0032 seem, I needed to hold once again.

You are right:
SEEM 0032_0001
offset 2F bit 7 > Short PowerKey Press For PowerUp
offset 32 bit 5 > Short PowerKey Press For PowerDown

Glad you can confirm this but where did you find out your info on it???
