Hi guys,

any ideas .....please let me know, I set up my email accounts on the 910i. When I go to retrieve it tells me " problem copying messages.....activation rejected " any ideas ??

Hey there shpack,

How do you find the 910i on Fido?

I just got one last night and wished it was a 910a simply for the 850mHz - lately, with a quad-band MOTO, I've been enjoying jumping back-n-forth from Rogers' sites keeping connected. I believe it's partially due to the 850mHz.

Though I'm super swamped over the next several days, I do promise to report my experience w/ POP/SMTP email once I've played w/ the unit a little.

I received the "activation rejection" message several times... it was just typo-error in the address settings for the internet account.

All accounts work now...

Hope yours is working fine.

Who is your ISP? Im on Fido with a P910i and can't set up my email account.My ISP is sympatico.Any help at all would be greatly appriciated.Thanks

Fido is your ISP through its GPRS connectivity.

On the P910, look for the advance settings for either the default or (new) Fido INTERNET ACCOUNT.
The address setting - internet.fido.ca (no user + password req'd).

I currently have the handset setup to pull email from two different email servers (POP) every - one every 15m, the other every hour. Works great.

My p910i was orginally used on the fido network and now I use it on the rogers and it has permenantly set the gprs to fido, making it grey and uneditible. flashing and reseting have not worked. Any ideas?

you misunderstood what flashing mean.......

find a store and unlock your phone ..
