Unlocking T637, difference between cables?

So on ebay it seems there are 3 different cables for sale. can someone tell me the difference?

"Service unlock cable DCS-11"

Looks identical to Service unlock cable. I'm guessing just the software is different?

"Terminator Dongle"

It seems the terminator dongle is mentioned most on here, so I will probably get that, one question tho: Can that also be used to upload ringers, images, etc? or only to unlock, unbrand?

And one more question: Whats the difference between unlock and unbrand? unlock is just making it so that it will work with other sim cards (and even though I stick in a Cingular/Tmobile card, it will still say AT&T)? and unbranding is putting on a different software with no AT&T logos (but makes no difference in terms of performance, connecting to other networks)?

you cannot transfer ringtones with terminator dongle. It's only for flashing firmware. Unlocking is just to use on other networks. The AT&T stuff will remain like the mMode button. Your network identifier will say t-mobile or whatever provider you use.

nope. Just get a terminator dongle and a bluetooth adapter.

Another question:

To transfer ringtones, etc. do I need the USB cable or the Serial cable? or do both work (in which case I'll get the USB cable)?

I'll probably end up buying a bluetooth adapter anyway, but I found a seller selling terminator dongles and they will throw in either USB or serial cable for $1, so I figure why not go ahead and get it.

go with the USB one.
