you win the The Longest Incoherent Sentence Award. Did you lose the period - the "." - off your keyboard?

You may want to try the moto forums - we know how to get into service menus on Kyoceras, they know about Motorolas.

Now I'm gonna try to get credit for the five minutes of my life that I spent decoding that.

Was I a little rough? reason is, this is a public forum. Writing in such a way that the public can at least understand you shows respect to said public. Doing otherwise is disrespect. At least an honest attempt is needed - no one laughs at people who don't speak english but try to write as clearly as possible. That's respect. Being a decent english speaker and writing as if punctuation and tenses don't exist is not cool.

Nice sig, by the way... Here's me thinking that scions were cool

Jay-Jay..

I have a Kyocera KE433 also, but I dont know the MSL code (security code) to program the phone with my own number--
Do you think you could help me getting the security code for this particular phone??

Posted by: cprender

Try either 868666 or 847446 for the MSL. It worked on my KE4333. And to the person that "hacked" their phone, you may be truly screwed. Changing you MIN is one thing all that will do is diable you CLID on inbound, but changing your SID/NID was not a good idea. Tryin putting it to 1.

Thank You very much -- I tried one of codes and phone allowed me to porgram my phone--- Thank You very much!!

I tried those and 000000 nothing happened the phone just reboots

Posted by: rasauq

that means wrong code

Posted by: zootzee

so what would be the right code?

Posted by: rasauq

i think virgin encodes it by esn
sounds like you'll have to call them
maybe get the phone swapped out by them

Posted by: zootzee

my phone is a bell mobility phone

I think the code is 114757 but that doesn't let me change the esn or anything.

This is what I found on a different site

Transfering the ringtone, screensavers, ect., I can not help you with, as I have not gotten that far. Now, for running 2 phones with the same number, that will only work one way...let me explain...

(Before I go on, I must let you know that we will be cloning the AUDIOVOX to the SLIDER, this is the only way I know, as I have not been able to crack into the AUDIOVOX yet)

First off, I can only assume that the phones in question have the VIRGIN MOBILE logo on it (VM has a contract with AUDIOVOX & KYOCERA). If not, then disregard this reply. If so, read on...

When you call in to activate the phones, you are asked for the ESN on the back of the phone (AUDIOVOX is located under the really long barcode on the back of the phone - KYOCERA is under the top barcode, starts D:0). You will need that shortly.

First things first...Make sure your 8910 is activated. Next, write down the ESN of the back of the 8910. Next, we want the Phone number and the Network ID from the 8910. Turn on the 8910 and enter ##847446 then press the red phone key (the one that tuurns the phone on and off). It will ask you for the SPC CODE, easy. The number 1 six times (111111). It will take you to the NAM SETUP. Select MSID, press OK. Write down the number you see there, then press OK, go to MDN, press OK, and if the number there is the same, press OK and then press the red phone key. The phone will reset itself.

NOTE: IF THE NUMBER IN MDN IS NOT THE SAME, WRITE THAT ONE DOWN AND MARK IT "PHONE NUMBER", AND MARK THE NUMBER FROM MSID AS "NETWORK ID"

Next, we want to go into the programing for the Slider (V5). Make sure phone is on, and enter the number 1 six times into the phone. If you did it right, you'll see VERSION, PROGRAMMING...Select programming, and it will ask you for a security code, again, easy. 847446 (or V-I-R-G-I-N). (If that don't work, try 868666). Entering the correct code should take you to the SERVICE OPTIONS menu. You should see ESN, MIN, MDN...

First, select ESN. Using the BACK key (right above the 1 key), erase that number and put in the ESN from the 8910. Press the OK button, it will take you back to the SERVICE OPTIONS menu. (IT MAY BE A GOOD IDEA TO WRITE THIS NUMBER DOWN FIRST, JUST IN CAE YOU WANT TO CHANGE **** BACK). Next, and this is the REALLY important part, if the MSID & MDN were the same, Select MIN and, after erasing the number there, put in the number from the 8910. Press the OK key, then the red phone key (yes, the power key), and VIOLA!, you should have a cloned phone.

IF THE NUMBERS WERE DIFFERENT, AFTER SELECTING "MIN", (and after erasing the numbers) ENTER THE "NETWORK ID". PRESS THE OK KEY. SELECT MDN, AND ERASE THE NUMBERS. THEN ENTER THE "PHONE NUMBER". Now, press the OK key, then the red phone key...VIOLA! A cloned phone.

Now, I can not (Nor will I ever) guarentee that this proccess will work. Like I said before, I have not been able to crack the 8910, or the 8610 or the 8500 for that matter. I know that the KYOCERA K7 RAVE and K9 give you the option to change the ESN (or ELECTRONIC SERIAL NUMBER).
