after using this site for a while i have found that alot or people use this site just to help themselves. i notice that there aren't alot of people that answer peoples help questions. but i guess this phone hacking isn't a well known subject. i am still looking for help on the above post. i have tried the download-snd text files posted and i can't get any of them to work correctly.

Have you tried using the uploader found here: http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/

I don't know if this will work with the 8410 but it does work with my 8910.

Leave the "send to" feild blank, type in a name, and select the file and upload. After you have done this navigate to http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/jump.php on your mobile browser and enter the jumpcode.

Let me know if this works out for you.

i don't subscribe to wap. therefore unless i can get wap to work on my phone only using airtime im not gonna subscribe to get ringers.
i wish more people actually helped on this site. if i get wap to work, thanks for the idea.

vetteman82,

People here are constantly helping others, so quit putting the site down, it's not needed.

Do I need to remind you that "You get what you pay for" and in your case, you bought a cheap phone, with minimal support. You do not want to PAY for ringtones, or PAY for wap service, so that doesn't leave you with many options now does it?

My suggestion to you is, decide exactly what you wish to do with your phone, do some research and find out what phones are capable of doing such things, and BUY a better phone.

im not puttin the site down. from what i see about 1 out of 5 post has a reply. the least people could do is say "yeah, there is a post about this same subject heres the link" or just say search on the site for it. where im from we have two choices for wireless service. ALLTEL and UNICEL. and my dad had unicel and had nothing but problems. so i don't have many choices for phones.
