Ok, this is driving me crazy!!! Ive read about a million posts about this and the main answer I get is to send it to my phone via e-mail. Ok, well IT DOES NOT WORK! All I keep getting is an error message! Yes, I have clipped the mp3's and made sure the pictures were the right resoulution, and still, not working. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I have a program called DataPilot and I am waiting for the cable to come in, and I just want a few pictures and wallpaper of my own until then. Does anyone know any websites that enable you to upload them to your phone??

I was fighting the same thing until I found funformobile.com.
It's free to use except for whatever data usage you have on your plan. It turned out to be VERY easy.

I found that page, very nice and easy BUT, everytime I send an MP3 ringtone (that is the proper length) it says it sent it, but I never recieve it on my phone. Its driving me insane!

well the lg 1400 & lg 1300

are NOT Verizon phones

the LG 8000 is of course VZW 3g CDMA EV -DO

it goes thru Vpix.com or it goes thru cable

as a side note, when i got my LG vx4500 in June 2004

there was a GIN program/site called 'foto share'

I downloaded the program, then signed up on the website

then I emailed my pictures to the fotoshare website

used the GIN fotoshare prorgram to download my pctures to the phone, it worked perfectly.

you of course have to pay for the use, it comes on your verizon bill

$2.50 for 'X" amount of pictures per month

it might still be available , it might NOT
you would have to use GIN ,and I think, 'get apps' to see what is available

I emailed my wallpaper to my phone via email through Yahoo Mail.

I think the email address you have to use is:
3105551212@vzwpix.com where the #s are your phone number including area code.

Hope this helps.

Oh yah you gotta make sure your pic is in the right format.
gif and jpeg. I sent my pic in gif format.

I guess im going to have to wait for the cable to come in.
I can send the pictures to myself through funformobile.com but not mp3's and thats what I really want. Oh well. Thanks anyways!!!

Do you mind letting me know where you got your cable, as well as if it works when you get it? I'm in the process of wanting to get a cable with charging capabilities. Thanks.

I got a data cable and car charger for $5 on ebay. Shipping was another $6 but well worth it.

I have a program called DataPilot(www.datapilot.com)
It works pretty good. I got it from BestBuy, but ordered the VX8000 cable through their site.
