S710a Sync Advice Needed...

I've been using a T616 for the past year-and-a-half and have been using a full version XTND Connect PC. I haven't upgraded to the newest version, though (It wouldn't work with the new version of Palm Desktop). Will the new version support my new S710a? The development of XTND Connect has been slow, to say the least. I'm reasonably certian the S710a won't work with the version I have now, but does anyone know if it will work with the newer version of XTND? I'd hate to plunk down the money on the new version only to find out it doesn't work.

On the other hand, does anyone have any better suggestions on sync-ing the phone with Palm Desktop? Everything seems to be geared towards using Outlook.

Any help would be appreciated.

Okay... Just a follow up note.

The full version of XTND Connect PC v5.1 will sync an S710a with Palm Desktop 4.1 (Yes, I know both are old versions. The new full version of XTND doesn't support Palm Desktop 5.x yet or at all.) and Outlook.

That was a little bit of a surprise to just drop my new S710a on the CSS-20 stand and data cable, launch an old version of XTND Connect PC, and watch it sync with and old version of Palm Desktop with no problems.
