All,

I have both a Treo 600 and a 650.

My IT dept. will support out of the office Outlook connectivity to the 600 but not 650 and has no plans to support it.

Obviously, the 650 is beautiful and much improved over the 600 but I really need connectivity.

I have a total of options. Please let me know which you would do.

1) return my beautiful 650, keep the 600 and resign myself to the lesser features, etc.

2) keep the 650 and access my corporate email, contacts and calendar through a secure web page login. The 650 supports this but the navigation of the site is really tough and the download times are pretty slow... not horrible but slow.

3) get myself a BlackBerry 7100G that My IT dept. will also support but of course it has no camera which is a bit of a loss for me.

My requirements in no certain order are:
-connectivity to Outlook when away from the office and my laptop. happens rarely (10x per year)
-connectivity to my Gmail and hotmail accounts
-integrated pda and phone

Thanks for any/all advice as I have to make a final decision today.

The Treo will probably fit your requirements better than a Blackberry 7100g.

i dont know why you say a tero would be bitter fit?

his requiremtns are outlook, which you will have with the 7100, gmail which you can do through the webclient, and a pda.

the 7100g will let you sync your email, as well as have contacts, addresses, and internet.

honestly the 7100 is really nice. Its not bulky, and no antena, and its a fraction of the size of the treo.

You don't have a camera, but oh well, get a digital one and keep it in your car! It will take better pictuers with less hassel of taking it off...

my 2 cents.

Cingular states emphatically that they are not selling this phone yet. I've tried local stores, national sales and even B2B sales and they all say no.

help!
