Hello,

Please help me,

Does anyone have a G50/55/51 with Rogers mobile internet actually working?

What are your phones settings?

The info rogers gave is pretty useless, seeing as the G50 has a CSD setup section asking if you are making an anolog or isdn connection and asks for a phone number, which isn't needed with GSM phones, DUH?

I'm so confused.

Please anyone.

Thanks.

well those are the information you have to enter in order for the internet to work.
go to menu-> 4-> settings.
pick any one of them, if there is an empty one pick it and edit.
server name: goam.com
ip address:208.200.67.150
ip port:9203
homepage: http://mymobilehomepage.rogers.com/
linger time:240
select mode: gprs setting
then save it.
then go back to menu-> option 7.
select gprs setting
pick an empty one.
server name is rogers
gprs apn: goam.com
login name: wapuser1
password:wap
atentication:activate
then save it and your internet should be working.

let me know if you can download any ringtones or wallpapers because i had to same problem as you in terms of internet and i fixed it but i can't download it says that my device does not allow downloads of ringtones and wallpapers....good luck and i hope i was able to help you...

I do not believe that the G50 supports GPRS. If that is true, then the Rogers website for setup is correct.

I have a G50 which doesn't support gprs. So those settings are useless, sorry for not specifying.

Thanks anyway,

Anyone else with more ideas?
