I have a problem with my 7100T not finding the network after being in a no signal area for a while. It keeps "searching for network" and never finds it(i have waited over 30 mins). Ii can turn the radio off and then back on and it will attaches to the network right away. I'm running 4.0 firmware.
Anyone else have this problem?

I just got my 7100T tonight, and noticed that it takes a long time to get signal again after being in a weak signal area. Is this an issue with this phone?

I had the same problem when I left my BB7100t in my car overnight while I was parked in my garage. What you have to do is remove the batt and restart the unit.

yep, matrix is right, remove the battery and put it back in, usualy solves 99.9999% of all issues!

i've done that twice, being that this is a new unit. should i expect this frequently? if so, i'll return it while i'm still able to.

oh yeah, you can expect this very frequently.

Yeah, I figured this out after awhile too. Why the hell is this? and I still get the speakerphone problem, where the speakerphone will be on even after the phone call is finished. Only way to stop it is to unconnect the bat.

Guess i'd expect them to fix that in 4.0. SOmetime i dont know i don't have a locked on the signal and will miss a page or call!

They claim they have improved signal acquisition in 4.0 - a new "radio stack" is what they call it. I say, stack it higher guys, we need more reliability.
