V600 Flash/Flex Questions

Hey. I'm interested in flashing/flexing my V600 in order to get rid of some of the bugs and add new features. I'm slightly confused though. I read a lot of things about it online. I'm just not sure WHICH flash or flex to go with. Like how do I know which flash or flex will have the fixes I want and where I could get it? Is there a certain order I need to go in when I upgrade? For example do I need to install the flashes below a certain flash before I can upgrade to the newest one? (i don't know if that made sense). Also, if a Flash or Flex says "FR" at the end, does that indicate its language... like French or something?
