8600 flash gone bad

I am with Cellular One, bought a used Verizon phone to replace mine which has lines on the main lcd and a fuzzy picture on the sub lcd...anyway, took the verizon phone to cell one to get it flashed, they called me and said it is not powering up correctly after the flash. when i turn it on now, the cellular one banner comes up, then the NAM with Verizon on the top (the NAM is still the same as before i took it in) then it goes to the main screen and looks normal for a few seconds..a.fter this it shows a white screen with vistate.c 02956 and it turns on and off about once a minute.

is there anything that can be done to fix this, did cell one screw up? anyone had a similar experience...does cell one owe me a working phone because i took a working phone in to them???? i have not called corperate about it yet...looking for some opinions

my original phone works fine, i still use it, but cant see anything on it. i have thought about just switching the lcd on the good phone with the one with the bad screen, but would be out a phone if i screwed it up.

any thoughts?

try opening both phones and swapping the lcds lol...
may work fine

update...i was able to swap parts in each phone to get each screen to work right, the software glitch is still going on with the verizon phone...i can access both phones with the data cable, can i just take the directory backup made with bitpim and put it one the other phone? is there software online i can access to flash it?? im a little unfamiliar with this part.
