Is the antenna too big on the BB 7520?

I currently own a Motorola i860 (Nextel). I am seriously thinking about switching to the BlackBerry 7520. My girlfriend's mom has a BB from Cingular and I love it! It does not have an antenna however.

Judging from pictures, the antenna on the 7520 looks HUUUUGE!

7520 users: is it really that big? Does it interfere in any way with using it or perhaps when it is in your pocket/on your belt?

Some people might think I'm weird, but that has actually been the reason I haven't purchased it yet.

Honestly the antenna isn't big at all. Its about the same size as other nextel models and honestly I don't notice it that much. In fact I think it helps sometimes as a grip to get it out of the holster. LOL. But serious rarely does it catch on clothing or anything else. Don't let it steer you away from the BB, IMHO.

Most BB's do not have external antenna's. Only the IDEN devices do. The CDMA and GSM/GPRS devices do not( the're internal rather than external). The internal antenna is sooooo much more convenient!!!!!!

The antenna isn't a problem at all, and you'll get used to it very quickly--especially since you're already used to the antennas on Nextels.
