Anyone hear about triband phone from Japan?

Hey guys recently I heard about a new gsm triband phone from my friend she says that she got a new gsm phone staight from Japan its white apparently and its from japan thats all that I know about it and she can get a good price of 500-600 bucks for it flat. Does anyone know anything about this phone or any phone that sounds the same thatt was released? Im unsure as to which phone it is cause I havent heard anything about it... any ideas??

no brand name, no model, no info at all? There are so many triband phones that could be from japan.

i'm just guessing but it might be the Sharp 902SH from vodafone?

but 500-600 is a lil bit expensive...i thought it was only around 300USD so i'm not sure

sharp v902 and another sanyo 3G is triband... both usable in Japan

902 on sale in march and sanyo is sold in HK now

thinking about it now, it is probably the 902SH since the phone is white, although how would she use it outisde Japan?
