Since they're ditching the flip entirely, I have to assume they'll jump right to P1000, but who knows.

As cool as the next P series will be...I probably won't buy it. Big reason is that I don't use the PDA features. I love the idea though...very novel but I guess it isn't for me. I will be waiting for my S700i coming in on Wednesday

So I guess I'll be waiting for Sony Ericsson's walkman phones coming out.

I feel the one dogenia posted is more likely the successor rather than the 2nd one which looks rather like the T630.

Yeah I like the taller screen too...the other one was an artist's rendition. I don't believe SE will use the same urban grey colors though...maybe black? The screen resolution, as many people said is 320x240 which means the screen will not be that long..it'll be more square than anything.

dude that new phone better be able to do landscape mode. i dont want to waste my time with the regular mode. also there was a link to a different concept too that someone posted earlier in the month. its was more a flip phone with a big screen and a keyboard underneath.

I migrated from a Nokia 6600 to a RAZR V3 to a P910i.

I thought the consensus was the P1000 would be out in September / October.

In the interim, there is likely to be a cheaper P series (P200) and a slight modification on the current (P915).

On the 1000 front, I heard landscape, WIFI and 1MP, but its a long time till October.

sorry to burst your bubble man, but ive had the S700 for a long time, and it's far from a good phone, it was infested with slowdown, dissapointing camera, lag and frequent crashes/restarts.

if i were you i'd consider another phone.

You didn't burst my bubble one bit cause I've reviewed this phone before and I liked it the first time.

I switched to the P910 in the first place cause I needed the PDA features but now that life has calmed down a bit I can do with just a phone. All the new SE phones coming out are ugly...I'd like to see an update to the S700i but it'll probably be awhile for that.

How about a headset with 3G capabilities, second camera for Video Conference, different Mic location for those occassions with when you have time to watch a movie larger screen and a different body colour.
I honestly dont use the camera much so whether its 1 MP or 7 MP like the new Samsung doesnt influence my purchase decision.

I noticed phone manufacturers announce phones at the middle of a month. I'm waiting for the next UIQ....I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrit for saying the S700i would do it for me. Granted its an awesome phone but its always fun to get more.
